Things that make your kitchen look lovely!!

Have you ever made trivets? I found some amazing material through a local shop in their scrap bags and decided to make a few things for the house including a few squares that I had my try at hand applique. Quilted and ready to give away.

Before:

After...

I also decided to finally use up my Joel Dewberry fabric that has been sitting around...

OVEN MITTS!! Super easy to make. I'll be posting a tutorial in the next few days if you're curious how to.

And no kitchen is complete without...Whipped shortbread cookies!

Same recipe as my shortbread that I normally make but I just threw on my kitchen aid and let it run for about 10 mins till it was nice and fluffy.

Then threw it in a icing bag and squeezed them onto the tray.

they taste like shortbread meets cotton candy!

And the best part of course is still licking the spoon...

AND adorable aprons!

  4. Wow. I'm just amazed at how talented you are! The trivets and oven mitts are so beautiful. I thought that the oven mitts were store-bought. I look forward to reading your blog more often!
